Responsibilities:
Business Acumen: Oil and Gas commodity supply chain experience, particularly distribution and logistics.
Business Acumen: experience analyzing and developing insight from cost and economic data
Data Analysis: experience with translating business requirements into data requirements needed for analysis (of rates and costs in this case)
Strong communications and engagement skills
Additional plus: exp erience within Chevron commodity supply chain domain and knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, TMW
Write high quality, maintainable, and robust low code applications on the Power Platform, along with complex Power BI dashboards and= reports.
Solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context
Use pragmatic solutions avoiding over-engineering and favoring straightforward solutions over complex ones
Manage a broad range of data structures and algorithms, understanding when and how to use them
Apply design patterns to resolve business problems
Identify bottlenecks to weed out inefficiencies, delays, and blockages
Ensure integration of new developments with legacy applications
Use ADO projects to track development progress
Deliverables:
Document and underst and business process and data flow related to logistics system by lane
Develop system for cost performance and spend visibility in line with UDM architecture
Create interactive visual to understand logistic feasibility/cost optionality between two locations
