Our client is looking to hire someone with just a couple of years experience with the ability to learn and form into their way of doing business. The salary range of $65,000 to $80,000 is for someone with 2 - 6 years of experience. Full benefits are provided. This person will be working daily at their office, as they are having employees working at the office with social distancing.
The Power BI/Data Analyst reports to the Demand Planning Manager. This position is responsible for analyzing various large datasets and developing and implementing Power BI Dashboards, Scoreboards and KPI reports. The analyst will facilitate and lead the demand forecasting processes throughout the Company. The function is to develop and improve forecast accuracy, demand forecast processes and techniques to create the best estimation of future demand in collaboration with sales, operations and other functional areas. Strong collaboration with Supply chain, Operations, Sales, IT, Customer Service and Executive Management will be critical to meeting business goals.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
1. Understand the manufacturing processes.
2. Development experience with Power BI.
3. Extensive experience with shop floor data collection, including collection of process results, test results, paperless repair operations, quality analysis and reporting, statistical process control, scheduling and traceability.
4. Ability to extract data using SQL and Power Query.
5. Develop demand forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends.
6. Make forecast adjustments based on seasonal products, promotions and discounts.
7. Determine demand forecasts to support in budgeting and inventory management.
8. Assist in developing and executing demand plan to achieve company goals.
9. Perform market analysis and determine customer demands.
10. Maintain demand planning systems to improve forecast accuracy.
11. Perform root cause analysis of demand issues and provide permanent resolutions.
12. Escalate complex demand issues to management for immediate resolution.
13. Work with inventory team to monitor inventory levels and replenish appropriate products.
14. Provide forecast updates to management, inventory and sales teams on regular basis.
15. Drive continuous improvement of forecast quality.Develop relevant metrics, tools and analytics to drive our forecast error, improving accuracy.
