Job Description:
This is a project for developing interactive analytics dashboards using Power BI. This project would involve connecting with various data sources via API calls, webservices, spreadsheets etc. and developing interactive dashboards. This project would be cross functional and could span 2-3 departments.
Skills that we are looking for:
- Expertise in BI tools especially Power BI Desktop and Web App
- Strong SQL querying and DAX skills
- Ability to independently query databases, understand database models, functions, and processes
- Expertise in building Power BI dashboards, reports and visualizations that are interactive and have drill-down capabilities and pagination
- Experience in embedding dashboards/reports in web pages/ SharePoint Sites/public websites and an understanding of Power BI licensing models
- Proficient in data warehouse and ETL processes/tools
- Proficient in dashboard UI/UX and analysis with attention to detail
- Highly motivated, self-driven with an ability to multitask across projects
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to translate business needs to technical specifications
- General knowledge of Master Data Management, Data Governance, and/or Enterprise Information Management
- Domain knowledge (City planning entitlement and permitting processes, code enforcement, Sustainability) would be a plus
