PostgreSQL DBA and AWS RDS
Fulltime || Charlotte, NC onsite
1. 7+ Years Experience in Oracle 12c & 19c Administration.
2. Must have Administration experience for PostgreSQL DBA and AWS RDS.
3. Experience in Installation and applying patches.
4. Very good Upgrade, Migration and administration.
5. Configure and maintain any Cloud technology.
6. Experience in Replication/Streaming technology
7. Install, Configure, manage Oracle Data guard and Grid Control.
8. Very Good hands-on experience in application tuning and performance monitoring.
9. Good knowledge in Linux. Experience in Ansible or Shell scripting.
10. Experience in Oracle OEM. 11. Expert with backup and recovery solutions including planning, implementing and periodic evaluation of backup/recovery (offline/online) and fast recovery strategies.
12. Exposure to Oracle access management and Security will be desired.
13. Predicting future Oracle trends for hardware usage and user load.
14. Managing development and QA databases.
15. Good knowledge Oracle database duplication & Cloning.
16. QA and Development database refresh.
17. Review and advise on DDL/DML changes.
18. Should able to provide pros and cons of any changes or new feature and how it affects or benefits our environment.
19. Customer handling skills 20. Strong communication skills and should be ready for cross skilling other technologies
21. Incidence management and root cause analysis
22. Experience in migrating from any database (like Sybase/MSSQL/DB2) to AWS RDS DB will be plus.
23. Knowledge of MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, Sybase, DB2 will be an advantage
