Specific experience in the Life Sciences/Pharma/Medical Devices/Healthcare industries is preferred

Real World Data Platform Business Analyst
Our client is a leading biopharmaceutical company with a diverse portfolio of prescription medicines, oncology, and vaccines. They are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Analyst with a background in real-world data (RWD) management to join a large dynamic project team at the suburb of Philadelphia. The RWDEx (Real-World Data Exchange) is a Cloud-based Platform that enables the Stakeholders to leverage data to generate insights and inform decisions. This Program has built a best-in-class, cloud-based, data and analytics platform that hosts a multitude of RWD (Real World Data) assets accessible across the organization, along with a Knowledge Management layer (Data and Analysis Catalogs) and an Analytics layer (self-service and advanced analytics tools

An essential part of (RWDEx) Program is the Change Management workstream that aims to drive deep platform adoption and cement new ways of working within focused divisions and teams.

The Change Management Workstream covers 3 major areas –
Driving Deep Platform Adoption & communications
Understand Barriers and Promote New Ways of Working
Supplementing the Program’s training needs via user training efforts

Requirements – Education and work experience:

Bachelor’s degree in an IT/Computer Science related discipline
Additional certification (Change Management, AWS, etc is preferred
3+ years working on a role related to Business Analyst Change Management Analyst, preferably a cloud-based or hybrid cloud/on-premises platform, or in areas related to real world data analyses
Specific experience in the Life Sciences/Pharma/Medical Devices/Healthcare industries is preferred
Specific experience working with healthcare data (Clinical Trials, EHR/Claims/Registries, Omics, etc) is preferred
Specific experience preferred for handling
o Enterprise Change Management requiring strategic focus
o Business Analysis : identify business objectives and requirements with understanding how those requirements fit into the broader enterprise context. Expertise in conducting comprehensive analysis with focus on integrating capabilities with the business domain, enterprise concern, industry regulations, standards and best practices.
o Organizational Change Management requiring interpersonal skills, communications skills, and understanding of group psychology
o Individual Change Management requiring strategic thinking and hard/soft skills
Intermediate to advanced skills in Python and/or R, Health economic modeling is desired
Knowledge and experience with Common Data Models, especially OMOP, is desirable
3+ years of data analysis experience with RWD, such as claims, EMR, survey data
Knowledge and skills in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI and Spotfire), or advanced visualization language and tools (JavaScript and d3) are preferable
Effective oral and written communication skills that enable personal impact with senior-level decision makers
Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset
High motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative

Responsibilities:

Apply a structured methodology & work on Change Management Activities : The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies, activities, Change management materials, focused group sessions, stakeholder tracker, analysis and plans that maximize user adoption, usage and minimize resistance
Communication efforts : Work on implementing the design, development, delivery and management of communications
Assess the change impact : Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders
Support training efforts : Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs
Key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage
This person will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures
Work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and proficiency with the changes that impact users ultimately driving towards increasing benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes
Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics; Identify and manage anticipated resistance
Create actionable deliverables for the change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan
Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
Coordinate efforts with other RWDEx Workstreams and team members
Evaluate and ensure user readiness, manage stakeholders, track usage and reports
Define and measure success metrics and support change progress
Independently develop high-quality client deliverables in a timely manner
