u>Job Summary:/u>
ul>
li>Analyze the business requirements of the project by studying the Business Requirement Specification document./li>
li>Create PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages and triggers to transfer the data from the intermediary database to the main database./li>
li>Create new object schemas/metadata, indexes as part of new database creation./li>
li>Create constraints on the tables for data validations and for maintaining the clear data without any issues./li>
li>Define ETL pipelines to migrate data from one database to other./li>
li>Write complex SQL queries using Joins, Sub queries and Group functions./li>
li>Perform exception handling for data that did not conform to the required format./li>
li>Work with front end application developers with their queries/stored procedures while building User-Interface for the project./li>
li>Code SQL procedures, functions and packages for batch processing of the applications./li>
li>Work on Query Optimization Techniques for complex SQL statements that are running longer and provide solutions to make the process run faster./li>
li>Use performance monitor and explain plan for performance tuning to enhance the performance of databases/li>
li>Use TOAD, SQL developer tools to develop programs and execute the queries./li>
li>Responsible for primary development of testing strategies./li>
li>Perform more complex analysis of business requirements and system specifications./li>
li>Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in a related specialty field/li>
