Position: Performance Test Engineer
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Performance Engineer responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive performance testing strategies. In this role, you will work with complex distributed systems, databases, and large clustered datasets to optimize overall product performance. Collaborating closely with Development, Quality Engineering, and Product teams, you will ensure all products meet high-quality performance benchmarks throughout their development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute performance test plans using LoadRunner and other tools for evaluating system behavior under various load conditions.

Monitor and analyze system performance through observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Splunk, IBM, etc., identifying bottlenecks and suggesting improvements.

Manage and optimize MongoDB database performance in line with application requirements.

Work within a Testing Center of Excellence (CoE) to standardize testing processes and share best practices across projects.

Analyze performance environments and work closely with application teams to understand and address system limitations.

Conduct GAAP analysis and provide actionable recommendations to the capacity planning team to ensure scalability and resource optimization.

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure performance considerations are integrated early and consistently in development processes.
Required Skills:

Expertise in LoadRunner for performance and load testing.

Experience with observability and monitoring platforms like Dynatrace, Splunk, or IBM.

Strong working knowledge of MongoDB and database performance tuning.

Familiarity with Testing COE operations and standards.

Proven ability to analyze complex systems and environments.

Excellent communication skills and experience working closely with development and application teams.

Understanding of GAAP analysis and capacity planning principles.
