Job Description:
The City of Fort Worth’s Information Technology Solutions Department is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Systems Developer. The selected candidate will serve in the ERP Division of the IT Solutions Department, and will participate in the planning, development, management and administration of the activities and operations of the Oracle/PeopleSoft environments.

Preferred candidates will have demonstrated experience with the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Develop customizations/modifications to the PeopleSoft application including online transaction processing, batch/interface processing, queries and reports, including Fluid technology and functionality. Particularly for Time and Labor and Absence Management modules.
- Reapply/retrofit customizations for PUM image updates and tax updates, including customization isolation techniques, such as Event Mapping, Hidden work records, Page/Field Configurator
- Configure data structures (PeopleSoft Record/Database Tables) to support development
- Maintain, customize and support Time & Labor and Absence Management, including Rules.
- Collaborate with co-workers, functional analysts and customers to refine business requirements and design & deliver solutions
- Translate functional requirements into technical design specifications
- Unit/System test functionality to ensure that it supports the business objectives and requirements
- Create comprehensive Implementation Plans for modifications including data migrations, manual steps and/or security configuration
- Work with Administration/Functional Teams to troubleshoot issues with both delivered and custom PeopleSoft functionality
- Research and open cases in My Oracle Support for bugs, fixes, Service Requests
Participate in an on-call rotation to support the PeopleSoft application outside of normal business hours
- Use PHIRE for project / code migrations through the development path into production
- Adhere to change management policies and system standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Troubleshoot and problem solve in a PeopleSoft production environment
- Project and operations support
- Continuous learning and development of skills and approaches to deliver solutions

Preferred candidates will have experience with one or more of the following PeopleSoft applications/modules, versions and development tools:

Development tools experience:
- PeopleTools 8.55+, PeopleSoft 9.2 FLUID, Microsoft SQL Server database, Windows servers
- PeopleSoft Application Designer and other development
o Records, Fields, Pages, Components, Component Interface, Query, Security
o PeopleCode, Application Engine, COBOL, SQR, SQL
o FLUID development, Integration Broker, Activity Guides, Approval Workflow, Pivot Grids, BI Publisher

Applications / Modules experience:
- PeopleSoft HCM – Core HR, North American Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, Employee Self-Service, Manager Self-Service, eCompensation, ePerformance, Profile Management, FLUID
- Any additional knowledge in the following would be helpful - PeopleSoft FSCM / FINS – General Ledger, Commitment Control, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Billing, Contracts, Grants, Cash Management / Treasury, Project Costing, Asset Management, Purchasing, eProcurement, eSupplier Connection, Strategic Sourcing, Inventory, FLUID
