*** We need: A senior (10+ Years) PeopleSoft Security Administrator for a long -term project working with Miami Dadae County. Emphasis of the work is on ensuring appropriate ERP application access to County end-users,which complies with audit standards for application permission access. Responsibilities include communication with business users and application programmers in defining security structures. This is a government position at candidates will need to travel to Miami for Fingerprinting if selected. **Candidates must have Long Projects/Good Tenure, Excellent communication skills.

Required Location: 100% Remote with travel to Miami for Finger printing.

Job Description:

The candidate must have experience in designing, developing, planning and implementing of ERP security

structures. Emphasis of the work is on ensuring appropriate ERP application access to County end-users,

which complies with audit standards for application permission access. Responsibilities include

communication with business users and application programmers in defining security structures, and

exercising considerable technical judgment and initiative in the periodic monitoring and maintenance of

the ERP security compliance. Incumbents may be assigned to a variety of subject matter ERP areas and

may serve as team leaders in the implementation and upgrades of various modules / systems.

Supervision is received from a technical supervisor who reviews work for achievement of desired results

and provides assistance, analysis and user communications, as required.

As a PeopleSoft Security Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's PeopleSoft applications. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and controls within the PeopleSoft environment to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.

Responsibilities:

  1. Security Design and Implementation:
    • Design, develop, and implement security roles, permission lists, and user profiles in PeopleSoft applications based on business requirements and security best practices.
    • Configure and maintain security configurations for PeopleSoft modules, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory compliance.
  2. User Access Management:
    • Manage user access requests, approvals, and provisioning/deprovisioning processes within PeopleSoft systems.
    • Conduct periodic access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
    • Provide user training and support on security-related matters, including password management and access controls.
  3. Security Monitoring and Incident Response:
    • Monitor PeopleSoft security logs and alerts for suspicious activities or security breaches.
    • Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
    • Collaborate with IT and security teams to respond to security incidents and ensure timely resolution.
  4. Security Policy Development and Documentation:
    • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures for PeopleSoft applications.
    • Document security configurations, controls, and procedures to support compliance requirements and audit activities.
  5. Security Testing and Vulnerability Management:
    • Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans on PeopleSoft systems.
    • Identify security vulnerabilities and work with IT teams to remediate issues and strengthen security posture.
    • Stay abreast of emerging security threats and technologies to proactively address potential risks to PeopleSoft environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Previous experience (X years) working as a PeopleSoft Security Administrator or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft security concepts, including roles, permission lists, row-level security, and security administration tools.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) and their implications for PeopleSoft security.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PeopleSoft Security Administrator Certified Expert) are a plus.
