Job Description :

Position Title: PeopleSoft HR/Payroll Consultant

.

Objective:

Provide assistance to the County's PeopleSoft team in delivering system capabilities that are needed in the near-term.

Tasks & Deliverables:

Tasks related to a PeopleTools upgrade from 8.55 to 8.58 and from 8.58 to 8.59

Application server upgrade

Convert custom code to PeopleSoft configuration

Knowledge transfer to internal County team for work completed and planned

Training and Experience: Sufficient education, training, and experience to demonstrate the possession and direct application of the following knowledge and abilities.

Thorough understanding of PeopleTools 8.55 and 8.59; Demonstrated experience in PeopleSoft applications of HCM of 9.2 or higher; At least one (1) year of experience in developing and maintaining PeopleSoft applications using the following skills and their toolsets: Integration Broker setup and Maintenance, WSDL/Web Service Integration

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field of Study

Minimum 5 years' PeopleSoft experience with at least 2 years of hands on version 9.2 or higher

Skills & Abilities:

Strong Communication Skills;

Maintain current documentation on all programs, systems and procedures;

Design programs and/or applications as needed;

Validate technical capabilities and requirements prior to final release phase, manage all application fix and release processes;

Code, test and implement programs or applications using appropriate programming tools/ language, such as SQR, and PS Query, and utilizing appropriate database engines such as Oracle
