Under broad supervision, designs, codes, tests, modifies and debugs software applications.
Complete Description:
The University System of Georgia seeks an Oracle PeopleSoft Application Developer to help design, code, and test, modify and debug software applications for their Athens, Georgia location.
Technical Skills:
10+ years of PeopleSoft HCM and/or Finance technical development consultant experience with higher education clients.
PeopleSoft 9.x experience.
Proficiency in Oracle 12c or higher is required.
Competence in Application Designer, People Code, SQR, Application Engine, and Component Interface.
Functional understanding of key processes in PeopleSoft HCM and/or Finance is desirable.
Experience with the following: Integration Broker, Application Security, Self Service configuration, AWE.
Maintain, troubleshoot and fix errors in existing applications systems.
Collaborate with the implementation team (Business Analysts, testers, developers and administrators
Support implementation team on current issues.
Strong problem solving experience.
BS or MS in Computer Science preferred.
Soft Skills
Strong problem solving experience.
Excellent verbal skills, including conducting/leading client meetings, conducting presentations and advising implementation team on technical issues.
Assist in planning production roll-out and deployment related activities.
Create and maintain documentation and standards.
Create and maintain thorough and complete technical documentation of all ERP PeopleSoft customizations and reports.
Work with onsite and off-site teams to support PeopleSoft development/processing.
