PeopleSoft Administrator will interact extensively with other internal/client teams suchas Database, Network and Storage Administrators with a variety of tasks while maintaining and troubleshooting PeopleSoft and associated 3rd partysystems.
Required PeopleSoft Skills
? Minimum five years’ experience supporting production environments and customers
? Complete understanding of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) - specifically in an Oracle Linux and WebLogic hosting environment
? Build, configure,administer and troubleshoot PeopleSoft application systems in a high availability, fast paced, multi-instance hosting environment
? Perform completeinstalls of PeopleSoft 8.x and 9.x at all tiers
? Provide expert troubleshooting for isolating technical problems in the PeopleSoft InternetArchitecture (PIA) including Oracle databases, tuxedo application servers onUnix, process schedulers on both Unix and NT and WebLogic configuration
? Analyze issueswith application servers, process schedulers, web servers, Elasticsearch,Integration Broker, BI Publisher, Application Engine, SQRs, and PeopleCode
? Debug andoptimize SQL statements within PS Query, COBOL and Application Engine programs
? Have in-depthknowledge of PUM installs and be comfortable in installing/configuring ChangeAssistant and troubleshooting issues if needed
? Have in-depthknowledge of PeopleSoft security components
? Have knowledge onhow physical load balancers work and basic troubleshooting of load balancersetup
? Ability toinstall, configure and troubleshoot Search Framework (Elasticsearch)
? Ability to worksimultaneously across multiple clients with multiple versions of PeopleSoftapplications and PeopleTools versions including older through the most currentrelease
? Work withInfrastructure team members (Network, NT and Unix Administrators) to build anddeliver services in a stable, highly available and secure multi-instancehosting environment
? Assist withcapacity planning, disaster recovery and load balancing activities
EngagingOracle Support in an effective manner as and when needed
