Pega Platform Administrator

100% Remote

Job Summary

We are looking for a Pega Platform Administrator responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting Pega environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Pega infrastructure, application support, and system administration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and upgrade Pega Platform across environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod).

  • Manage Pega application servers and underlying infrastructure.

  • Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.

  • Perform environment health checks, patching, and backups.

  • Troubleshoot Pega platform and infrastructure issues.

  • Manage user access, roles, and security configurations.

  • Support deployments and release management activities.

  • Work with development teams to resolve environment-related issues.

  • Maintain documentation for environments and procedures.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as a Pega Platform Administrator or similar role.

  • Strong understanding of Pega Platform architecture.

  • Experience with application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere).

  • Knowledge of databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

  • Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows administration.

  • Understanding of Pega security, authentication, and authorization.

  • Experience with monitoring tools and log analysis.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) or Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA).

  • Experience with Pega Cloud or managed cloud services.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.


Nice to Have

  • Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • ITIL or Infrastructure certifications.
