PEGA Developer
Dearborn, Michigan
Position Duties:
Lead design, development & maintenance to support business requirements.
Support / debug Pega software products
Provide root cause analysis environments
Create & maintain run book & other operational procedures
Comply w/ Pega Access Roles, Privileges & Access Groups
Perform Code Reviews & Design Review Sessions to ensure application quality
Develop & execute unit test & integration plans/scripts
Support load testing across environments
Monitor system performance
Participate in systems integration testing (SIT)
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT)
Coordinate schedule for code migrations.
Analyze logs & alerts of Autonomic Event Services (AES), take necessary actions in order to resolve
Suggest & implement modifications to improve system performance & user interaction
Provide Production Support
Work with Senior System Architects to improve the code quality & fix Guardrail identified issues
Utilize rule security analyzer tool to reduce system vulnerabilities
Provide production support weekend & off-hour support coverage
Adhere to Ford processes, tools & methodologies
Adhere to security & controls (ACR, SOX SCRP) & change control processes
Position Qualifications:
IT bachelor''s degree (or related field)
6+ years of Development background: design, analysis & coding
4+ years of Pega Development
2+ years of Production Support experience
Experience in all components of software delivery with concentration in requirements, design & development
Strong analytical & problem solving skills
Able to resolve incidents & provide business support
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills for working in a global & highly complex environment
Ability to multi-task effectively, work on a variety of work assignments
Ability to perform application support tasks like: systems support, security reviews, & maintenance tasks
Nice to have skills:
Experience in supporting Cloud architected applications
Pega platform tools & DevOps tools like PegaUnit, prpcServiceUtils & Jenkins etc.,
Working knowledge of Pega Express
USDM/AGILE experience
