Client is looking for a Pega Administrator to build, configure and troubleshoot Pega PRPC environment with one of the leading healthcare providers in US. The ideal candidate must possess in depth experience implementing Pega PRPC on Linux based systems. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team.


Responsibilities

As a Pega Administrator, you will:

- Build, configure and troubleshoot Pega PRPC environment.
- Be implementing Pega PRPC on Linux based systems.
- Be defining node classifications on the environment.
- Evaluate merits and risks of upgrades coordinating with appropriate staff to execute smoke test for deployed applications.
- Perform performance tuning of the platform.
- Ensure all applications developed have a high degree of integrity, reliability and availability to meet the requirements of the online transaction processing environment.
- Provide technical expertise, guidance, advice and knowledge transfer to all support staff on all aspects of client server computing, programming, database technology, networking within a multi protocol environment.
- Partner with DevOps team to ensure all pipelines are built and functional as per the defined guidelines.
- Troubleshoot L 1 and L 2 issues associated with Pega platform and underlying middleware services.
- Work in an Agile environment.


Requirements:

- Three or more years experience with building Pega PRPC environment, configuration and troubleshooting or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Three or more years experience implementing Pega PRPC on Linux based systems.
- Three or more years experience defining node classifications on the environment.
- Three or more years experience to execute smoke test for deployed applications.
- Three or more years experience on performance tuning of the platform.
- Three or more years experience in troubleshooting L 1 and L 2 issues associated with Pega platform and underlying middleware services.
- Experienced in generating appropriate system level documentation and knowledge base training documentation, deployment guide, System monitoring build guide, smoke test guide, etc.
- Hands on skill working on Oracle Exadata.


- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, knowledge sharing, collaborative and mentoring skills.
- Work experience in Agile environment with application teams is required.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
