Job Description :

Role: Third Party Risk Analyst

Remote/ Tempe, AZ

Responsibilities:

·         Support the design and implementation of a common and consistent vendor risk management (VRM)

·         program to effectively manage vendor risk in accordance with internal policy and Federal/ State

·         Regulatory requirements ensuring consistency in the execution of the VRM program

·         Provide guidance to the business owner, Collaborators in Security, Business Continuity, Technology,

·         Cyber Security and Finance to ensure requirements of VRM are fully understood and risks identified and mitigated.

·         Engaging with risk peer groups to complete Vendor Risk Assessments and work to resolve any issues creating a delay in the VRA

·         Deliver efficient and effective escalations in line with the established policies and procedures.

·         Create SOC Summary reviews in support of Federal regulations by documenting User Entity Control

·         Considerations, reviewing with the business owners to capture their response to the complimentary controls that they have in place. If the controls do not exist then an action plan must be identified to compensate for the requirements.

 

Education and Experience:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management or equivalent applicable experience

·         0-3 years of experience in Operations or Risk Management or related field

·         Solid knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel, (Tableau and Power Point a plus)

·         Ability to develop rapport and relationships with business owners and senior management

·         Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely present issues, ideas, and

·         recommendations both verbally as well as in written form

·         Self-starter that can learn new concepts and quickly apply them

Skills:-

·         Strong work ethic, time management, detail oriented

·         Individual is required to consistently adapt to a changing environment

·         Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills are a must.

·         Demonstrated ability to meet deliverables on time

·         Efficient and effective ability to manage a program while owning individual projects

·         Individual must be able to work well with others and show the ability to foster and maintain relationships

·         Considered a thought leader on a subject

·         Experience driving and managing training, analysis, and effectiveness assessments

·         Ability to analyze, manage, and track large datasets

·         Problem Solving

·         Analytical and conceptual thinking – using logic and reason, creative and strategic

Certifications [preferred]

·         CTPRP certification a plus

·         Supplier management experience with a focus on risk mitigation
