Job Description:

· Participate in Story writing. Collaborate with Product and Engineering team members to define stories and scenarios.

· Expand scenarios into test cases.

· Once the story and scenarios has been defined, come up with test cases and document them.

· Once story is ready to be tested, execute test cases and provide detailed and timely feedback.

· Detailed feedback should include steps to reproduce, environment details and some root cause analysis that helps developers resolve the issue in timely manner.

· Perform various level of testing, including feature, integration, regression and load. Read and understand code.

· At various stage of testing you will have to read and understand the production code, so that you can understand inner working of the product, asses risk and identify testing scope bases on code changes.

· Document test cases for already developed features.

· When you are testing a legacy feature that doesn''t have scenarios and test cases defined, use your testing knowledge and product owner''s help in defining and documenting those cases.

· Participate in various Scrum rituals and provide process improvement feedback. Coordinate and communicate with offshore team



Technologies & Tools:

· Project Tools: JIRA, Zephyr for JIRA

· Testing Tools: Postman, Charlse, Telnet

· CI/CD: Jenkins

· Technologies; HTTP, REST, AJAX, XML, JSON

· Logging & Analytics: Splunk, Coviva, New Relic



Must Have:

· Experience testing OTT platforms such as Roku, Chromecast

· Experience testing Ads or Research requirement

· Experience using network validation tools such as Charles proxy



Good to have:

· Video player testing experience

· Test automation experience

· Leadership experience
