A technical project manager who can assist in managing Oracle EBS upgrade project from an Infrastructure perspective. This project covers 4 regional OLTP, OAPS and GDW environment upgrades from the current version 12.1.3 to 12.2.10. The actual execution of the project will be done by an implementation partner, this role is to assist and co-ordinate infrastructure requirement between teams, track infrastructure related issues to resolution, guide technical project teams etc..
THIS IS NOT A FUNCTIONAL POSITION.
- Responsible to support the implementation partner for Upgrading Oracle EBS environment from 12.1.3 to 12.2.10
- Co-ordinate infrastructure requirements between various infrastructure teams
- Track issues / vendor cases to help the project team to resolve on time to meet the project timeline
- Work with the project team to identify opportunity to reduce the overall cutover timeline
- Introduce proper Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for managing an R12 Upgrade project of this type and size.
- Manage project team deliverables and customer expectations
- Facilitate the identification and mitigation of project risks and issues
- Provide, status reports, and quality retrospectives to Infrastructure Manager
