The position is a contract with the right to hire - and because we are targeting a future employee, we are ideally looking for a
local person to work in hybrid mode (2 or 3 days in office).
The Oracle CC&B Technical Lead will be primarily responsible for the design and development of technical solutions in Oracle CC&B. The candidate will both have a production support role and will also be supporting related needs for Capital Projects. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Services: monitor services, managing compute, and others. The candidate will work primarily under the Customer Applications Team.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the development and support of the Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) application.
- Translate functional requirements to technical design.
- Establish best practices in alignment with relevant industry, regulatory, and technical requirements.
- Support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services.
- Proactively monitor services access, availability, performance, and usage.
- Provide support for production during the day and batch run at night (on-call).
- Support for enterprise projects and deployment.
- Automate tasks using scripting and utilities.
- Follow standards and document processes and procedures where appropriate.
- Keep up to date with the latest technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
What You Bring:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree, Master Degree is desired.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Customer Care and Billing and Oracle Utilities Application Framework.
- Experience in:
- Oracle Cloud infrastructure development and implementation.
- Design and development of Oracle CC&B Customizations: Batch, Algorithms, Change Handlers, UI Maps, Scripts, Business Objects, Business Services, and Inbound Web Services.
- Java and PL/SQL.
- Hibernate Framework, Weblogic Server, and Scripting Languages (Perl/Shell/Ant).
- Designing and implementing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) architecture and services: Compute and Storage.
- Knowledge of automation and scripting tools in OCI: Terraform, Ansible and CI/CD tools: Gitlab.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and technical specifications.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills is required.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
