Description:
The Business Analyst will have expert level knowledge and experience configuring and designing/redesigning Oracle Financials Cloud. The analyst will have strong knowledge in customer contracts, subscription billing, usage billing and various contract clauses for billing and reconciliation.
Requirements:
10+ years’ experience as an ERP Functional Business Analyst
10+ years’ experience in systems analyst roles, implementing and supporting ERP applications such as Oracle ERP/ Fusion Cloud with certification
Business engagement and business analysis experience in implementing ERP systems is preferred
Functional experience in the Order to Cash areas with focus on billing, revenue recognition and GL is preferred
Understanding of business Financial processes including but not limited to:
o Order to cash process
o Billing – Contract Subscription / usage based
o Accounting
o AR
o GL
Demonstrated experience working with business functions to understand and map processes to functional and technical specifications
Possess excellent communication skills – written and oral, interpersonal and organizational.
Strong documentation skill writing functional/ technical specs
Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities with competing priorities
Proven track record of delivering successful large-scale, business transformation, and multi-disciplinary change initiatives especially in Subscription/SaaS model
Business Analyst role to an Order-To-Cash project in design and development phase.
Participate in systems requirements, analysis, design and documentation.
Monitor and maintain integrations with backed billing system, tax systems, payment gateways and billing eco systems
Maintain in-depth functional knowledge of the developed applications and interdependencies
Participate in unit test, Integration and user acceptance tests. Document issues in MS TFS and coordinate with business users and developers for a resolution.
Partner with the Revenue accounting team to document and re-engineer current processes within business applications.
Identify gaps and opportunities for automation and work on Proof of concepts for new requirements as appropriate
Experience with service contracts and comfortable with contractual language
Experience with contract reviews for customer specific billing requirements
Experience with Business Analysis in OTC such as contract compliance, pricing, rebates, charge back etc
Collecting and analyzing the business requirements and transfer the knowledge to the development team
