Title: Oracle Forms and Reports Developer

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
The Texas Railroad Commission ITS division requires the services of one experienced Java Developer technical resource preferably with RRC Oil and Gas systems kowledge/experience hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualification of a Programmer/Developer 3 in legacy technology.
The Worker will apply their expert knowledge of Java in the RRC agency technology stack to support the needs of internal ITS development project teams.
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Analyze, design, code, and as required test enhancements to complex modules.
Design, develop, and modify web applications for complex agency information technology systems.
Analyze existing programs or formulate logic for new systems, devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs.
Develop data conversion and system implementation plans.
Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation.
Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards
Set up a new java code project using Maven build tool and develop a new web-based application.
Design a new database schema to persist data from the new application.
Follow RRC security framework, architecture, and high-level design similar to the other newer applications developed using Spring framework etc.
Work on the integration with the mainframe and existing web services, or create new web services when needed.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related work experience.
At least five (5) years of experience in software development using Java including:
o Required: Oracle Forms and Reports.
Excellent analytical and coding skills.
Experience with entire software stack from database schema design to screen layout and development
Seasoned full stack web developer.
Advanced skill in java ee and java programming and at a minimum thorough knowledge in JPA, Hibernate, and Springs Framework.
Design and develop accessible web based user interface using JSF, Primefaces, java scripting.
Experience in providing and consuming web services for both (JAX-WS and JAX-RS
Experience with developing test cases and test suite using Junit or similar.
Advanced skill in database development using Oracle DB.
Experience with Maven, Git, and Weblogic Application Server.
Preferred (Optional)
Preferred experience with Jasper Report.
