We are currently looking for an experienced Oracle Forms and Reports SME to assist with the planning, analysis, design, development, integration, and upgrade of a suite of legacy Oracle Forms and Reports applications for one
of our customers. We need an experienced Oracle Forms/Reports developer who will be responsible for upgrading a large number of client-server 6i Forms and Reports to 12c hosted in Oracle OCI. You''ll analyze, design, develop,
migrate/upgrade and implement complex forms and reports modules under limited supervision. You''ll extract business logic, validate requirements, and provide SME support to the application modernization team. You''ll
design, develop, code, test, and debug complex software. You''ll upgrade/migrate business applications using Oracle Forms and Reports, Java, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL. You''ll research and integrate design strategies,
product specifications, development schedules, and user expectations into product capabilities. You''ll help resolve infrastructure and software compatibility issues as well as recommend and implement improved UI where necessary and approved.
* BA or BS degree or equivalent work experience
* 5-10 years of experience as Oracle Forms, Reports, and PLSQL developer
* Experience upgrading/migrating from older versions of Forms and Reports to newer versions (i.e. 6i to 12c)
* Compiling large quantities of Forms and Reports in batch mode
* Ability to fix deprecated built-ins and compile issues manually, re-coding as necessary to maintain basic form functionality
* Unit Testing, system testing as required
* Experience with Forms connecting to external systems via Database Links, OCI, Host commands or Java Stored Procedures etc.
* Experience with developing, validating, publishing, and maintaining logical and physical data models
* Knowledge of design and development using Oracle Forms and Reports 12c
* Experience with developing business applications using Java, SOA, Web services, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL
* Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other Cloud providers is a plus
* Experience integrating with LDAP directories such as Active Directory is also a plus
