Oracle EBusiness Software Engineer in Nashville, TN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB Participate in all phases of managing the Application Lifecycle Management: requirements analysis, development, testing, and implementation. Participate in technical logic and design discussions Identify the appropriate software architecture based on the requirements and on enterprise architecture guidelines Record software architecture in a software architecture document using use cases and Unified Modeling Language (UML Maintain and evolve software architecture documents based on evolving requirements and technology trends Lead the review process for software architecture documents Contribute to the review and analysis of business requirements Integrate internal and external product design into a cohesive user experience Work with UX/UI to improve and refine product visual design and consistency Create, maintain, and present technical documentation to different audiences and levels Perform resource, technical and risk assessments Work with other development, architecture, and product development teams Work with 3rd party vendor on technical design/specifications, development, testing and deployment to ensure the product meets the requirements Assist in the timely completion of assigned development projects Prepare required documentation, including project plans, software program, and user documentation Assist in the estimation of personnel requirements, cost, and time for development projects Provide 24/7 support, on a rotating basis, for all processes related to BMI's financials systems Supports our BMI Core Values and cultivates a culture of diversity and inclusion. Other duties as assigned POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or Math or equivalent industry experience 3-5 years software development experience 3 years Oracle eBusiness Suite development experience Extensive object oriented design and development of server-side and client-side software experience Strong SQL/PL-SQL experience with Oracle Databases Experience creating packaged procedures Experience generating log and output files, from both Concurrent Processing, and straight database utilization Experience calling / referencing standard Oracle packages and functionality Java programming experience with Oracle JDeveloper Knowledge of and experience with Oracle JDeveloper IDE Experience with Java Stored Procedures Experience with Java Concurrent Program (JCP) programming Oracle OAFramework (OAF) development experience Oracle BI Publisher Experience BI Publisher Template Builder for Word Development of RTF and XLS Templates Development of XML Data Templates Merge and Bursting report experience Experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite versions 12.1 or 12.2 Experience with Oracle Financials modules: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payments, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, iExpenses, Sub-Ledger Accounting, Tax Experience with Oracle Procurement modules: Purchasing, iProcurement Korn or Bash Shell scripting experience in a Unix / Linux environment Experience with Oracle Workflow, Workflow and Notification administration, Workflow Builder is preferred Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports in 10g or 11g is preferred Experience with Oracle Message Designer, Oracle XML Gateway, Oracle Business Intelligence Analytics Applications is preferred Experience with distributed systems or a large enterprise background is preferred Must possess ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Must be a team player who understands the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication, including a willingness to occasionally work in a pair-programming environment An understanding of UML, and the ability to create and maintain of project work products including use cases, data flow charts, process flow diagrams, software requirements document, functional specifications document, etc. Must possess ability to effectively present information and respond to questions Detailed orientation and strong attention to detail Must have progressive achievement in job history Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends, when required An understanding of SDLC automation concepts, such as continuous integration Must possess ability to implement strong unit and service-level tests Required Skills : Candidates must be currently working on R12 (Oracle Cloud not accepted by the client) Candidates must be doing mostly support work (the client doesn't want to see implementation work) Oracle EBS modules in Financials and Procurement
