Role: Oracle EBS System Administrator
Location: Oklahoma City Oklahoma
Status: PERM
Salary is $120k plus 10% bonus

Overview:
The Sr. Oracle System Administrator (SA) is responsible for administering and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite environment 12.1.3 across financials, general ledger, cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, sourcing, contracts, financial accounting hub The SA will conduct system analysis, complete general system maintenance, troubleshoot and resolve issues, provision user access, and support deployment of application releases and patches. Key responsibilities of the Oracle SA include:
Perform system/application configurations
Manage BR100 documentation – create, update, review, version control.
Maintain roles and responsibilities
Provision user access
Deploy application releases and enhancements including customizations, workflows, interfaces, code changes, and patching fixes & upgrades
Prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve tickets and issues
Monitor system stability and performance proactively
Log service requests with Oracle Support and track to resolution, including managing escalations when required.
Support major project deployment initiatives
Support timely and efficient month-end close process
Key Result Areas:
Ensure high system availability through proactive monitoring, alerting and collaboration with Business and Technology support teams
Provide administration and maintenance for Oracle E-Business Suite platform
Maintain roles and responsibilities
Assign/remove access to Oracle E-Business Suite
Assist in conducting internal control assessments
Collaborate with DBA, Tech Leads, Track Leads and other peers in the planning, installation, testing and maintenance of application releases and patches
Provide operational and production maintenance support
Triage and resolve production issues timely
Liaise with Oracle Support to open service requests, drive service requests to completion, initiate escalations, and ensure satisfactory and timely delivery of resolutions.
Enforce quality standards for vendor project deliverables and ensure complete and accurate documentation is provided.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or another equivalent technical degree.

Professional Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite System Administration
Demonstrated expertise in Oracle R12 EBS Application and System Administration including application configuration, user roles/responsibility maintenance, troubleshooting, reporting and general system usage.
Knowledge:
Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Systems Administration – application setup, configurations, maintaining roles & responsibilities, maintaining menus, adding/removing user access, maintaining lookup tables.
Familiarity with customizations, workflows, interfaces, code changes, patches, and upgrades.
Understanding and hands-on experience with the Unix and Linux operating systems, including the file system and basic commands and utilities.
Understanding of SOX and internal audit controls governance
Familiarity with how to work with Oracle Support to open and manage service requests to completion.
Proficiency in writing and maintaining BR100 application setup documents
Proficiency with scripting & automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks
Understanding of configuration management and version control.
Experience with Service Now a plus
Skills:
Demonstrated Systems Administration experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, including ability to anticipate, identify, and solve critical problems in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Ability to automate repetitive tasks using scripts or tools such as data loaders.
SQL skills
Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
Initiative to keep apprised with industry changes in the domain and keep skills current for this role.
Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remotely across geographies in a “follow-the-sun” support model.
Ability to multi-task and be productive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
