Job Title: Oracle EBS Procurement Functional Lead (AME Workflow & LOB Expertise

Location: Remote

Rate: $80/hr on c2c

Duration: 12 Month Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oracle Procurement Functional Leadership:
    • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Procurement modules (iProcurement, Purchasing, Sourcing, Supplier Portal, Contracts).
    • Gather and analyze business requirements for procurement processes (Requisitions, POs, Approvals, Sourcing, Contracts).
    • Conduct Fit-Gap analysis, propose solutions, and document functional specifications.
    • Configure Approval Hierarchies, Document Types, and Approval Groups in Oracle Purchasing.
  • AME (Approval Management Engine) Workflow Customization:
    • Design, develop, and customize AME workflows for procurement approvals (PO, Requisition, Invoice).
    • Configure AME rules, conditions, and approval groups based on business policies.
    • Troubleshoot and optimize AME workflows for efficiency and compliance.
    • Integrate AME with Oracle Workflow Builder and Notifications.
  • Line of Business (LOB) Collaboration:
    • Work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, and Legal teams to align procurement workflows with business policies.
    • Ensure procurement processes comply with financial controls, audit requirements, and industry best practices.
    • Provide training and support to end-users on procurement and AME workflows.
  • Technical & Functional Integration:
    • Collaborate with technical teams for custom reports, interfaces, and extensions (OAF, PL/SQL).
    • Support upgrades, patches, and testing (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT).
    • Document configurations, test scripts, and user manuals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS Procurement modules (iProcurement, Purchasing, Sourcing, Contracts).
  • Strong expertise in AME workflow customization (rules, conditions, approval groups).
  • Experience with Oracle Workflow Builder and Notifications.
  • Good understanding of LOB (Finance, Supply Chain, Legal) processes and compliance.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Integration (SOAP/REST, APIs) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Oracle Procurement/AME certification is preferred.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Procurement (Fusion) is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Reports for troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to Supplier Portal, PunchOut Catalogs, and Contract Management.
