Job Description

The Oracle DBA is responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing large-scale Oracle database environments supporting mission-critical enterprise applications. This role ensures high availability, performance, data integrity, and disaster recovery while supporting development and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and support Oracle databases in production and non-production
Design and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions
Perform performance tuning and capacity planning
Implement backup, recovery, and data protection strategies
Manage database security, auditing, and compliance
Support application teams with database design and optimization
Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations
Automate DBA operations and monitoring
Troubleshoot complex database issues and outages
Lead and mentor junior DBAs
