Role : Oracle Database Consultant
Location : Baltimore, MD 21202
Duration : 4 to 5 yrs.
Responsibilities:
Must be capable of managing the development of database projects.
Must be able to plan and budget staff and data resources. Supports application developers in planning preparation, load analysis, and backup and recovery of data. When necessary, reallocates resources to maximize benefits. Must be able to prepare and deliver presentations on DBMS concepts. Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff. Monitors performance and evaluates areas to improve efficiency.Required Experience:Experience in the development and maintenance of database systemsExperience deploying software installations and upgrades for Oracle 11g / 12c Release 1 on a Windows OS environmentExperience creating scripts for backing up dataExperience deploying applications that utilize Oracle Connection ManagerExperience configuring OEM tools and Oracle Grid Management ServerExperience creating database backups and recoveryExperience configuring RMAN for database backup and repository maintenanceExperience configuring SMTPExperience deploying and configuring Oracle Data Guard on Windows OSExperience configuring Quest TOAD DBA SUITE for OracleExperience configuring Quest SPOTLIGHT ON ORACLE RACExperience configuring data integration scripts with TALENDExperience deploying and configuring Microsoft SQL Server 2016Experience deploying and configuring SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)Certifications
