DataStaff, Inc. is seeking an Oracle Data Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity in Durham, NC.
Responsibilities:
· Identify and refine data requirements, database migration and archival planning and implementation including out of the box schema’s such as Cúram application schema.
· Provide Oracle database development, technical support such as resolving performance issues.
· Identify and refine data requirements, database design, database migration and archival planning and implementation, construct configurable ETL frameworks, and ensure adherence to defined development standards.
· Work closely with the Quality Control (QC) team to assist in all data related matters when audits and evaluations requiring reports are needed. This QC assignment will require face to face meetings with State and Federal auditors where requirements are gathered, and reporting data is explained.
· Business requirements must be interpreted into logical queries and written to provide the data for reports that are provided for the audits.
· Requirements and design documentation must be created and maintained as part of this reporting and QC work.

Required Skills:
· 7 Years: Extensive experience with Oracle Database technologies.
· 7 Years: Extensive experience in planning and executing Oracle database migration and archival process for large scale applications
· 7 Years: Extensive experience in developing ETL frameworks using PL/SQL
· 7 Years: Experience in fine tuning complex queries and resolving of performance issues.
· 7 Years: Experience in implementing improvements based on Oracle AWR report.
· 7 Years: Extensive experience in collaborating and mentoring large teams with group of report developers and database architects.
Desired Skills:
· 3 Years: Experience with enterprise level cloud-based development, deployment, and auditing, with PAAS, IAAS, and SAAS models.
· 2 Years: Experience in using or supporting data interfaces via Dell Boomi, Amazon RedShift, AWS Glue
· Experience in working with State and Federal auditors in meeting their requirements.
· Familiarity with Cúram application schema
