Join this exciting new initiative as a Oracle cloud architect with skills. With your expertise, you will work with a high-performing team to design and develop solutions to build Big Data Solutions.
You will work with a high-performing team to develop solutions for a major client. You will support and interact with the client daily in an Agile way of working. You will have the opportunity to show/grow with technology in a customer-facing role. You should be able to work independently under limited supervision and apply your knowledge. You should have sufficient knowledge and maturity to effectively deal with technical issues and help to support the broader team. Your success will be directly related to CGI’s and our client’s success.
This role must be located at one of the following locations: Bloomfield, CT; Lafayette, LA.
- Your future duties and responsibilities
Strong Oracle Cloud Architecture Infrastructure experience including (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). - Detailed knowledge of architectural approaches including consolidation, cloud computing, virtualization, Data management, Java applications, Oracle and non-Oracle applications.
- Good knowledge of Oracle Cloud Applications such as Oracle E-business Suite, and Oracle Analytics Cloud
- Provide design best practices around Fusion Analytics solutions that benefit customers through the use of Oracle Analytics Cloud.
- Provide strong expertise creating detailed technical architectures and blueprint solutions for specified needs.
- Strong understanding of OIC adapters, usage of REST, SOA adapters, usage of orchestration integration patterns.
- Deep knowledge of the Oracle RDBMS in Cloud, Autonomous Data warehouse (ADW), Oracle Data Integration (ODI/GoldenGate/Data Guard)
- Broad and deep experience with technology transformation and significant Cloud solution experience in the following areas - Migration roadmaps and transformation execution. Broad and deep experience with Oracle’s database concepts.
- Strong hands on experience with Oracle cloud native data integration services such as OIC, ODI.
- Hands on knowledge and extensive experience implementing Oracle’s PaaS solutions.
- Knowledge and experience of Oracle’s Cloud integration strategies and solutions.
- Knowledge of Integration frameworks offered by fusion ERP SaaS applications.
- Experience with other data integration services such as Airflow and or Dell Boomi would be considered a plus
- Knowledge of competitive & partner products, technology and solution is a plus
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology with minimum of 10+ years of work experience.
- Hands on experience in virtualized environments
- Deliver new services/features via an agile DevOps approach
- Programming languages such as Python, PowerShell
- Oracle Cloud Arch certifications
