Position: Oracle CC&B Data Conversion
Location: El Paso, TX/ New York, NY
Job Type: Full Time/ Contract
Required Qualifications.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of El Paso, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Experience of full-cycle implementation for a utility (Electricity/Water/ Gas Domain) with hands on technical and data conversion experience in Oracle CC&B.
Preferred Qualifications.
Able to identify and perform data profiling for the legacy data.
Ability to lead the data mapping, design activities.
Ability to design and develop ETL jobs in tools like ODI, Oracle Data Stage etc… for Oracle CC&B.
Should be able to propose and lead the data conversion strategy.
Understand the legacy data model and identify the data quality issues.
Proficient with Oracle CC&B data model.
Able to design ETL jobs for data conversion using any of the ETL tools.
Should be able to develop and test the data conversion ETL Jobs.
Able to work with Oracle CC&B Functional team to understand the impacts on data conversion activities.
Should be able to perform tuning of the ETL jobs to achieve optimum performance.
Proficient in writing SQL’s required for data profiling/mapping activities.
The candidate must be a team player and is also expected to help the project team with any functional issues that may arise during the course of the project.
Good interpersonal communications and analytical ability.
This position would require extensive travel as per project needs.
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
