Job Description:
Responsible for providing senior-level expertise on overall technology, infrastructure and administration of the Oracle BI platforms, this includes Hyperion Interactive Reports, Essbase and OBIEE.
Works closely with Oracle BI users to tune and optimize reports and processes as well as share best practices in using the tools to meet reporting needs.
Acts as a mentor and trainer on Oracle BI administration, architecture, user support and tuning activities.
Participates in project planning and proof-of-concepts involving Hyperion Interactive Reports, Essbase and OBIEE.
Develops and oversees monitoring systems to measure usage and ensure operational stability.
Participates in the on-call duty phone rotation and acts as the escalation point for the Oracle BI tools.
Required skills/competencies:
3+ years of hands-on experience in Hyperion Interactive Reports, Essbase and OBIEE.
Experience installing, configuring, testing and tuning Hyperion Interactive Reports server components, Essbase server software as well as SmartView and OBIEE on-premise software.
Knowledge developing Essbase cubes, Hyperion reports and OBIEE dashboards.
Strong experience in SQL.
Experience with Windows Server administration and UNIX-AIX server administration.
Familiarity with data warehousing and Oracle databases.
