Title: Oracle Apps Database Administrator
Location: 12100 Park 35 Circle, Austin, TX 78753
Duration: Until 8/31/2021 with possible extension
Last date for submission: October 15, 2020 (2.00PM central time)

Job Duties:
- EBS Patch Analysis: Research and document information
- Co-pilot to patching EBS
- Interact with TCEQ DBAs to validate Quarterly patches done by ATOS
- Support and provide consultation for EBS 12.2.x upgrade
- Provide support and assistance in managing Oracle SRs required for EBS
- Troubleshooting basis2 issues as it relates to EBS infrastructure
- Configure basis2 to run in the TCEQ approved browser. Currently runs in unsupported IE
- Assist and support the database upgrade to Oracle 19c
- Current basis2 implementation runs in an outdated JAVA architecture and JRE. Consult and advise on upgrading
- Assess the current application environment, provide documentation and serve as the technical lead in patch / upgrade efforts
- Miscellaneous duties: Assisting teams as needed

Required Skills:
- Advanced EBS Apps DBA with 5+ years’ experience, good communication and collaboration skills.
- Technical writing skills
- Ability to analyze technical situation or infrastructure and be able to document
- Experience in advising, directing and guiding DBAs, App Admins, Data Center Resources (DCS)
- Experience opening Oracle SRs and expediting SRs as needed
- Experience with RAC and Exadata
- Experience with Linux, JAVA, Oracle, Oracle Reports, PhP, Perl, PL/SQL. Cold Fusion, and full stack web development.
