Immediate need for a talented Ops Support / Regulatory Reporting. This is a 06+ Months / Part Time (20 hours per week) contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Jacksonville, FL(Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $32.41/ hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation, review and submission of regulatory report filings with the regulatory bodies.
  • Perform period over period variance analysis.
  • Ability to produce, organize and maintain workpapers that support regulatory reports and calculations that can pass an audit.
  • Assist in ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of cross report reconciliations.
  • Perform root cause analysis of identified issues and map out tactical and make strategic recommendations for process/control modifications.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key internal parties (Operations, Business Finance, and Financial Reporting) in support of the legal entity and regulatory reporting.
  • Identify and help solve business problems.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 
  • Self starer who is a quick learner.
  • Experience in the Finance sector is a huge plus.
  • Solid organizational, analytical and problem solving skills, aligned with attention to detail and time management.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with strict reporting deadlines.
  • Ability to work with large sets of Data and SQL experience would be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Excel must; knowledge of Alteryx would be beneficial.
