Role: AWS Cloud Architect / SME

Location: Plano, TX (Relocation acceptable with genuine reason)

Type: Contract

Prior Capital One experience (required)

We are looking for a skilled AWS Cloud Architect/SME with strong enterprise migration experience, specifically in AWS Gen 3 Migration. Prior Capital One experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support AWS Gen 3 migration initiatives across large-scale enterprise environments
Architect, design, and implement cloud-native solutions following best practices
Partner with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems into scalable AWS architectures
Provide guidance on security, networking, automation, and cloud governance
Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and ensure performance optimization
Document architecture patterns, migration plans, and operational procedures

Required Experience:

Strong hands-on experience as an AWS Architect/SME
Proven expertise in AWS Gen 3 Migration projects
Prior Capital One experience (required)
Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, Lambda, IAM, VPC, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.)
Experience with cloud modernization, large-scale migration, and platform transformation
