Job Title: Network Engineer

Work Location: St Louis, MO.
Contract duration (in months): 12+

Job Details:

  • A person with basic knowledge of how networks work.
  • Majority of work is understanding our applications, data flow diagrams, how each servers interacts with upstream down stream systems.
  • He/she should understand F5 load balancers, F5 iRules, F5 certificates, Firewall rules,
  • Majority of work involves, requesting FW rules, F5 related requests, DNS related requests.
  • He/she would not be setting up any network related work but requesting and communicating with the network teams and following through the requests,
  • He/she should have basic unix skills, LDAP/Active directory understanding,
  • F5 irules, certs, load balancer pools
  • DNS -how they works
  • Documentation -chalk or SharePoint
  • Firewalls
  • CMDB
  • Visio
  • LDAP/Active Directory hierarchy
  • Trello
  • Excel
  • Familiarity with monitoring systems, Splunk/UIM/Appd/
