About the Role
Join team as we modernize and enhance Annuity contract generation and account opening applications. You will work with cutting-edge Oracle OIPA technology and collaborate closely with both business and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities-
Develop and maintain policy administration systems using Oracle OIPA (v10.2 v11 upgrade).
Configure OIPA components including AS Files, integration, data intake, palette, security, and extensions.
Assist with OIPA maintenance Java troubleshooting (~10% development).
Write and debug SQL queries in an Oracle DB environment.
Support a multi-platform ecosystem: WebLogic, WebSphere, Oracle DB, DB2, SQL Server, Linux & Windows.
Work on a project already 40% complete, delivering results that directly support Fidelity's Life & Annuity portfolio.
Must-Have Skills
4+ years hands-on Oracle OIPA development experience
OIPA configuration language, integration, AS Files, data architecture & extraction
OIPA extensions, screens (policy, roles, allocation, valuation), release management
Java basics for debugging/maintenance
SQL (Oracle)
JUnit, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor
UML, Design Patterns
Experience with STS/Eclipse in UNIX & Windows environments
Nice to Have
AWS or Azure cloud knowledge
AWS Certification
Docker familiarity
