This person must understand what the regulatory requirements are, understand what the internal policy would be and tell the manager about their experience as it relates. Understand how security is intertwined with O365. An example of a questions the manager asks asks: They're using outlook and connecting to on prem exchange environment, as they do the migration they connect to O365 using the same outlook clients, as a security architect is the outlook connectivity to o365 secure? What other solutions can you use to fill in the gap? Need them to be able to go into detail on how they would figure out if it's secure, make it secure, etc. They are detailed more hands on questions but he needs this person to be an expert so wants them to have the full understanding of security in O365. They will be brought on just to secure the o365 environment and then the project will end. Banking experience a plus 3-6 months Remote but must work EST hours Duties will include: Evaluate Office 365 platform security controls encompassing the full suite of Office 365 services Create recommendations and reference architecture for Office 365 information security and general architecture Develop roadmap for the organizations adoption of Office 365 that meets the businesss and information securitys requirements Act as an embedded information security and architecture SME within the Office 365 program Develop a security vision and reference architecture for public cloud adoption including Microsoft Azure and Office 365 Consult with and engage the overall information security organization in relation to information security standards, policies and governance Required Skills and Education Ability to work with existing Information Security Standards to define technical requirements for the Office 365 platform Familiarity working with regulatory requirements as they pertain to audit, compliance and security controls Prior experience working with data classification and governance Evaluation of integrated security infrastructure such as mail protection, CASB, DLP and proxy technologies Strong knowledge of Active Directory zone types as well as multi forest design and communications Must be able to work in a team environment with a can do attitude Self-motivated, with keen attention to detail and excellent judgment skills Must have excellent writing and communication skills, strong communicator with ability to maintain open communication with internal employees, contractors, managers, 3rd parties, and customers as needed Working knowledge of system hardening (STIGs, SRGs, regulatory compliance)
