Must have experience with Citrix Xendesktop 5+ years supporting Microsoft Office 365 Windows Server Active Directory Network troubleshooting experience Scripting experience Role: Office 365 engineer Duration: 6 months (possible extension) Location: Libertyville, IL Interview: Phone and Video Industry: Credit/Finance Qualifications (Skills & Experiences & Education) Years of Relevant Experience: 7+ years' experience in Information Technology field 5+ years supporting Microsoft Office 365 and/or Microsoft server technologies (e.g. Exchange Server, SharePoint Server and/or OneDrive) Education Required Desired B.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent education) B.S. in Computer Science Skills: General skills needed to perform the job Required Desired Microsoft Office 365 & Subscription Plans Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 Active Directory & Azure Active Directory SharePoint Online & Exchange Online Microsoft Teams Windows PowerShell, Shell & vbScript (scripting) VMWare vSphere Splunk Excellent written and verbal communication skills Thorough knowledge of legacy Office applications to include Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Skype/Teams, OneDrive for Business, Publisher, etc. Experience with Agile is preferred (DevOps, SCRUM) VMWare Horizon View Citrix Workspace (XenApp & XenDesktop) OpenText RightFax & cloudAPI Specialized Skills: Knowledge or certifications unique to this role MCSA: Universal Windows Platform MCSE: Productivity MCSA: Office 365 Linux experience a plus Work Flexibility: Physical requirements, travel requirements, work schedule, etc. Lift 50lbs 10% business The Workplace Technologies 365 Engineer will primarily be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting all components of the Office 365 environment. This role will serve as the subject matter expert for Office 365 and will assist in the design and implementation of the Office 365 governance. This role also acts as the subject matter expert (SME) for legacy on-premise productivity applications. Role Responsibilities: List essential functions in order of importance; include percentage of time spent performing each function (total should equal 100%) Main responsibility 90% Act as the tier 3 technical contact, deliver advanced technical troubleshooting and problem-solving solutions for corporate customers including, issues escalated to the highest level of management (20%) Webex Room Kits, Microsoft Teams, Crestron conferencing room systems. This also includes design, hardware/software evaluations, monitoring and troubleshooting Collaborate with subject matter experts and escalation managers when additional support is needed Work hand in hand with architects and engineers to design Office 365 solutions Intimately understanding of Networking Technologies (WiFi, DNS, DHCP, VLAN's and VPN troubleshooting. Maintain technical knowledge in the industry with internal/external training to improve performance and develop specialization. (5%) Understanding of Office 365 Suite and subscription plans Active Directory & Azure Active Directory Strong experience with Microsoft Intune/SCCM/JAMF Additional responsibilities 5% Maintain technical knowledge in the industry with internal/external training Additional responsibilities 5% PowerShell scripting
