Job Title: O&M Health & Safety Manager

Summary:
The O&M Health & Safety Manager is responsible for managing the company’s health and
safety program as well as customer required specific O&M project requirements, while cultivating a safety-conscious work environment and positively influencing safety practices among all employees.
Responsibilities:
· Maintains, evaluates and administers the O&M safety program, including processes and procedures, document revision, and creation and presentation of training programs for senior management, supervisors and employees.
· Works directly with and coordinates and shares information and activities with the SMA Safety Manager.
· Visits O&M project sites, conducts O&M specific safety meetings and prepares reports to ensure compliance
· with health and safety requirements.
· Coordinates and assists O&M Managers in developing standardized Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and field safety
· protocols that follow all applicable federal and state standards.
Required skills:
· A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in safety, occupational health, education, engineering or a related field is required.
· At least 5 years of experience in a safety and/or occupational health, or engineering role are required.
· Safety experience in construction or electrical environments is preferred.
· Experience in electronics or a related technical field is preferred.
· Experience in the PV and/or O&M field is highly preferred.
