Summary
The QA Automation Lead/SDET will support quality assurance testing throughout the
exhaustive digital platforms that the Marketing Digital team governs. The creation of a robust
automation suite that will be able to optimize coverage across digital platforms. This role will be
re-engineering the current automation suite, identifying gaps in coverage, and ensuring that all
areas are covered. Developing automation test reports showcasing metrics between each
environment during the sprints. The role will always be looking to identify any problems/bugs
and run debugging programs to fix issues. The public-facing, digital space satisfies all
specifications and will work with multiple teams that support the digital
space for PenFed to ensure quality changes and improvements are a success for our
membership. 
Essential Functions

Responsible for designing, restructuring, improving, and building an automation
framework and scripts for new and existing functionalities to fit all types of testing;
reviewing and debugging automated functional and integration tests. 
Defining and implementing the roadmap initiative of ensuring adequate coverage in the
automation suite. Assist in planning, scheduling, and implementing automation projects
Collaborate with the QA Manager and QA Lead to develop an automation process and
schedule to accommodate the testing request.
Collaborating with the Development AEM Architect to ensure the automation framework
integrates with current technologies.
Analyzes, designs, and maintains automated script, along with Smoke, Regression, and
Operational test plans. Reporting defects, tracking, validating, and closing while
executing (manual or automated) test cases.
Collaborate with the rest of the QA team members to develop effective strategies for
automating new and existing initiatives to ensure coverage. Mentor and coach QA testers
to becoming automation testers.
Attention to detail to focus on improving maintainability increasing automation
awareness, and decrease test execution times. Troubleshooting issues within the
framework to prevent inadequate defects.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development
lifecycle.

Education and Experience
A combination of education and experience will be considered.
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
10 to 12 years experience as a QA Automation Engineer/Lead or similar role
5+ years experience designing, building, and supporting an automation framework
3+ year of coding experience using Selenium, Jenkins, Java, or Python
2+ years experience working in TDD/BDD (nice to have)
Experience with JSON, Postman, and TeamCity
Experience in project management and QA methodology
Familiarity with Agile frameworks
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Working knowledge of test management software (qTest, Zephyr, etc.) and SQL
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
Strong organizational skills

Licenses and Certifications
AEM as well as other A e Marketing Cloud product certifications preferred. 
Certified Software Test Automation Specialist (CSTAS), preferred.
ITIL Certification v3 or v4 preferred
Certified Scrum Developer (CSD), preferred
