Position/Title: IT Manager
Technology (This is a product/project implementation firm which provides infra structure services to its clients)
This role is going to get a lot of support from our offshore teams on Infra, networking, cloud administration and troubleshooting.. so we are essentially looking for a strong IT specialist who is very service oriented and great at handling senior leadership and their requests.
The candidate may not end up supporting all 50 – 70 people on daily basis.. as the Offshore team will do most of that triaging.
So someone who is 5-7 years of experience with good End User computing IT support and troubleshooting experience. Really pleasing personality and confident and assuring.
They are doing Infrastructure management for a Private Equity firm based out of West Palm Beach FL. The person needs to be in that area. The position will start remote but will be onsite within a month or so. They are building a new office and need a IT manager to setup everything.
Key points are below,
Small company – 50 – 70 employees in total between NYC, CA and FL. FL is a new location they are setting up so they are looking for someone who is local, able to come to office and help setup a new office.
He will be supporting the companies’ End user computing needs.. IT asset management, inventory, allocation, ID and access management, laptop, desktop, mobile support, Internet support, Printer scanner setup etc, Software updates, troubleshooting etc.
Success Factor – what defines outcome for the you
As an ideal candidate, you have proven experience & expertise in helping VIP users with daily IT operations activities like user on-boarding/ offboarding, IT induction and troubleshooting daily IT issues but at the same time also manage on-prem and cloud IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities – what will you do
Independently work as the IT site SPOC while engaging & managing OEM vendors to bring up and manage a new site from an IT standpoint.
You will work closely & collaborate with offshore (India) support teams.
Utilize your deep understanding of ITSM products & services in running daily IT operations.
You will use your strong & hands on knowledge to maintain & operate IT infrastructure involving AWS and Virtualization, Active Directory, O365, Citrix and MS Azure.
You will be proactive and a great team player with extraordinary communication skills to handle senior leadership population like VPs & SVPs.
You will have knowledge of WAN, LAN Switches. Routers, Firewalls & VPN devices.
Job requirements / Qualification – what we expect you to bring.
Must have superior verbal & written communication skills with a “customer first” attitude.
Must have strong knowledge & hands-on experience with AWS and Virtualization or MS Azure.
Must be able to manage & operate, Citrix, Active Directory, Office 365 and drive MDM solutions.
Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in IT with 8-10 years’ industry experience.
Any cloud certifications would be a plus.
Ability to manage / support multiple priorities and work with cross-functional teams. Ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization, in a fast-paced agile setup.
