AWS Cloud Engineer Data Lake in support of PSEGNJ prime
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a senior cloud engineer with provable experience configuring, deploying, and supporting a big data analytics platform within AWS using Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, Redshift, Redshift Spectrum
As part of PSEG’s digital transformation, we are looking to use technology in new and innovative ways to introduce new business capabilities and achieve industry leading business outcomes. As a Cloud Engineer assigned to the Data Analytics Team, you will support the AWS Data Lake environment post-Go Live.
The Cloud Engineer is involved in the full lifecycle support for managing CEF data within the data lake (ingestion, curation, consumption) for existing data pipelines (glue jobs that manage data within the data lake) and Works closely with the cloud team to address and resolve AWS issues / improve services, etc
Ability to develop additional data sets to meet specific analytics needs (from Data Science team members, data visualization, etc)
Addresses new data requirements from a pipeline perspective (design & develop pipelines for new data sources, updating existing data sources)
REQUIRED SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND CERTIFICATIONS
AWS certified, with experience with Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, Redshift, Redshift Spectrum
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting AWS Data Lake environments
Development skills / experience with Python, Spark / PySpark
810 Compliant
Must be a permanent resident or US citizen
Must reside in New Jersey (no exceptions)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE MINIMUM
3-4 years of AWS cloud experience.
