| Do you have NPI experience? We are looking for an NPI Test Engineer that epitomize technical and operational excellence. Full cycle product development experience from inception through maturity is important. Working simultaneously on projects in different phases is common; you are able to demonstrate strong debugging, troubleshooting, validation and defect analysis skills in addition to the understanding of mechanics of ongoing operational excellence and product support. You are responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. - You will be a key member of the board test and new product teams and will be the main interface with the internal operations team as well as our Contract Manufacturers (CM). In this role, you will:
· Work along with Product Engineering to define the test strategy, implement and optimize test setup/processes at the CM including qualification of test fixtures, test equipment and test software.
· Work concurrently with the Design Engineers and Product Engineers to provide design for testability (DFT) feedback throughout the design process.
· Investigate, troubleshoot analyze yield issues and provide concise paretos and yield analysis reports during prototype and production builds to resolve issues and improve yields.
· Interface with suppliers, Design Engineering, board test and manufacturing team to achieve desired improvement goals.
· Deploy and provide training for Manufacturing Tests and Test Stations at CM's for qualification builds.
· Help to develop test station procedures, preventative maintenance plans and troubleshooting guides to support onsite production and at CM as well· Investigate and introduce new manufacturing test technology and methodology to enhance production efficiency |
