Title: Network and VoIP SME
Location: Thornton, CO
Duration: 12+ Months
Key Role:
Own the architecture and design of a real-time monitoring solution based on VoIP Monitor
Establish the detailed deployment requirements, which include:
o Placement of probes within the Avaya OneCloud network environments
o Placement of probes within customer networks when they are a hybrid deployment of Avaya OneCloud
o Ensure end-to-end network visibility including packets that only flow between virtual infrastructure within a VMWare ESX environment
o Detail the integration requirements with other back-end systems that are part of the Avaya Managed Services Platform (e.g., alarming when outage or performance issues are customer impacting)
Skills Requirements:
Knowledge of TCP/IP and UDP
Knowledge of VoIP protocols (primarily SIP, RTP, and RTCP)
Packet capture and analysis experience
Experienced with common networking tools such as Wireshark, AppNeta, NetScout
Skilled at troubleshooting network visibility issues
Experience with Avaya VoIP solutions is desired but not essential
