Position: Network Engineer
Location: Wichita, Kansas

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• Performs support tasks for medium to large, complex Cisco network solutions.
• Network problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions.
• Work with vendors on integration of solutions.
• Assists customers with documentation, training, and usability efforts.
• Prioritize, manage, workload as required.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary on/off-shift and during weekends.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time as well as well as being a collaborative team member.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.
• Able to respond to demanding target dates.
• TCP/IP fundamentals (VLSM/CIDR), QoS, IP Subnetting,
• Cabling (copper & fiber), OSPF, BGP, VLAN Trunking, VLANs,
• Advanced switching configuration like VSS, HSRP, VRF.
• Cisco WLCs, 802.1x Authentication.
• Experience working with or for network or telecommunications vendors
