Must possess an active Secret security clearance and maintain eligibility for the duration of the contract.

Bachelor''s degree and at least 6 years of job-related experience or equivalent. Prefer Degree in a Computer Science/Information Technology Discipline. Alternative Education Qualification includes an AA Degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or High School Graduate with 10 years of relevant experience. An intimate understanding of the Army’s Mission Network on the Move and At the Halt essential. preferred. Experience with LAN level Network Administration of routers, switches, VLAN configuration, and wireless bridges preferred.

A fully qualified candidate will meet education requirement the selected candidate must maintain DoD 8570.1 certification requirements for IAT-II including local operating system certification for Microsoft.

Additional required skills include CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA A CISCO Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) will be considered depending upon experience.

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness; must possess planning/organizing skills and be able to work under deadlines. *Additionally, this position may require Shift Work

The selected candidate will support management and technical coordination tasks, consults as an SME to solve complex problems in technical areas. The Subject Matter Expert collaborates with customer(s) to determine specific needs and requirements. Participates in meetings, task groups, teams, reviews and other environments to assist in collaborative results. Prepares reports, presentations and papers to document findings, opinions and recommendations. The selected candidate must possess superior communications skills; working knowledge of word processing and integrated software applications; excellent management and organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Position may require travel and the ability to pass and maintain a security clearance. The selected candidate will serve as the focal point for all coordination between Mission Network (MN) Remote Hub Nodes (RH’s), unit’s, and DISA or other agencies/services for the lifecycle of designated mission. Additionally the selected candidate will perform the following tasks:

? Scheduling, tracking and reporting of all GAIT missions
? Maintain the master GAIT mission tracker – provides details to RHN planners as needed
? Compile all mission requirements for the creation and modification of mission packets.
? Prioritize mission process flow on GAIT mission requested priority and PM guidance
? Provide feedback to NETCOM ACAS development team on GAIT mission processes
? Responsible for the QA/QC of all GAIT mission packets
? Distribute all GAIT mission packets to mission participants
? Inform GAIT NSC personnel of all upcoming GAIT related mission events
? Provide technical guidance and mentor the RHN and unit personnel throughout the GAIT mission
? Assist Tier III and GAIT Engineers with mission designs and troubleshooting
