Job Description :
Position: Network Architect
Length: 12+ Months
Location: Atlanta, GA
Education: Minimum four-year degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Qualifications:
Candidate will satisfy the majority of the following list of qualifications.
Six years+ experience in an architect, design and/or project implementation role for a large enterprise network.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Experience in project management methodology.
Ability to maintain focus on multiple projects concurrently.
Must have the initiative to create structure and definition around a project, and to drive it through to successful completion.
Hands-on experience with Cisco network hardware including routers, switches, and security appliances
Experience with Cisco SD-Access/DNA technologies and Cisco ISE AAA servers.
Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies for large scale enterprise deployments.
Experience with Cisco ACI data center platform, including policy development and administration.
Familiarity with automating processes through scripting. Language Preferred: Python
Experience with cloud interconnect platforms to dynamically deliver services such as AWS, Azure, etc.
Experience with Palo Alto firewall platform and Panorama.
Knowledge and experience with networking protocols and configurations including OSPF, BGP, HSRP, multicast, SIP, QoS, VLANs, and MPLS.
Experience with the design of physical networks including fiber and copper cabling.
Knowledge and experience with network management systems

Responsibilities:
Candidate will work as a member of a group responsible for architecture and design of IP data and telecommunications network connectivity within the NS enterprise. Candidate should have an advanced understanding of architecture and design issues in a complex enterprise network.
Various projects and areas of responsibility include the following: WAN/LAN network architecture, 802.11 wireless infrastructure, conventional and VoIP telephony, IP addressing, mobile networking, network services (e.g. DNS/DHCP), Internet/DMZ/VPN environments, videoconferencing, network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS), as well as network monitoring, management, and performance tools and methods. Depending on the project, some travel and/or overtime work may be required.
A significant part of the required daily activities involves documentation related to technical standards and network design as well as project management and change management methodologies.
