Role: Network Administrator L2 Location: Auburn Hills, MI Duration: Contract Rate: $Negotiable Roles and Responsibilities He or She will be responsible for the following Provide specialized hardware / software / network problem diagnosis / resolution for customer's Network. Escalation point for Level 2 engineers Route physical problems to onsite hands and feet support staff. Coordinate H/W Maintenance activity with 3rd Party for hardware installation, troubleshooting and fixing hardware issues Provide support to Network hardware/software/configurations assigned by Level2 Network team Timely closure of incidents. Quality of resolution notes Logistics movement of spares to various locations along with AstraZeneca Administer network filtering by implementation of access lists Troubleshoot routing and switching issues Troubleshoot WAN/LAN Problem. Work closely with the client and other track teams to obtain technical knowledge and to permanently solve chronic problems. Training: Be willing to impart on the job and commercial training designed to enhance skills and support capabilities Experience and Skills required Minimum 7 Years of Domain Experience. Troubleshoot Routing Loop Troubleshoot Asymmetric Routing & STP Loop issues Troubleshoot Load Balancers issues for Application flow. Working on Riverbed related issues Analyzing the outputs of all the tools and making recommendations example: High CPU utilization on core device at Data Center Implementation of Operational Changes & coordination with project team for project related Changes. Assigning new users in guest VLAN Configuring/Troubleshooting Routing protocols EIGRP, OSPF, BGP Configuring/Troubleshooting LAN Switching VLAN, VTP, STP, EtherChannel, CoS Qos Quality of service configuration Configuring/Troubleshooting WAN MPLS & excellent knowledge on BGP Configuring/Troubleshooting TCP/IP protocol suite, Quality of Service Configuring/Troubleshooting Application protocols - HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSL etc. Configuring/Troubleshooting Network Security - IPSec VPN, AAA Architecture, TACACS+, RADIUS Support Data Center Architecture Network, Server, Storage Configuration & troubleshooting experience on Cisco Nexus 7000/5000/2000 Series of switches required Configuring/Troubleshooting Cisco IOS Software Configuring/Troubleshooting of WAN Acceleration/optimization Cisco WAAS or Riverbed Configuring/Troubleshooting of Application Load balancers Citrix Netscalar Able to communicate with the customer and be able to present solutions to customers at CIO, CXO level Open for 24x7 availability Provide specialized hardware / software / network problem diagnosis / resolution for customer's Network. Escalation point for Level 2 engineers Conduct technical trainings to internal resources Excellent network troubleshooting skills. Must be able to quickly identify and resolve network related issues in smallest possible time. Excellent communication skills. Must be able to clearly interact with the customer, understand the requirements and communicate with the off-shore team. Must be able to participate and represent the team in Change and Incident management meetings. Excellent leadership skills. CCNP/CCIP Certification Required. CCIE Certification desirable.
