Client is leading an urgent consulting search for a highly specialized NetSuite Technical SME capable of owning both the architecture and code behind a full revenue recognition (rev rec) system rebuild.
Our client—an established organization in the financial membership sector—is not performing a patch or tune-up.
They are redesigning their entire revenue recognition engine from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete rebuild of an ASC-606–aligned revenue recognition engine
- Architect scalable, high-performance ARM solutions and ensure code implementations match the design
- Refactor and modernize legacy processes using:
- SuiteScript 2.x / 2.1
- SuiteFlow
- SDF (SuiteCloud Development Framework)
- RESTlets
- Build streamlined revenue logic to eliminate manual steps, conflicts, and system bottlenecks
- Collaborate directly with Accounting, Finance, Billing, QA, and senior engineering leadership
- Own end-to-end solution quality, from architectural design through production deployment
Required Skills & Experience
- Deep, hands-on NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) expertise — mandatory
- Proven ability to architect NetSuite solutions and write/validate SuiteScript code
- Strong understanding of ASC-606 revenue recognition principles
- Experience building or rebuilding complex rev rec engines
- Strong communication skills with senior business stakeholders
- Ability to understand upstream and downstream system impacts
- A mindset focused on fixing foundational issues, not temporary patches

- Experience designing financial system architectures
- Ability to translate complex revenue models into clean and scalable NetSuite solutions
