Job Description:
The Worker (NetSuite Developer) will be responsible for analyzing, modifying and migrating customizations to CPA’s NetSuite environment as needed to meet project deliverables. The worker must have extensive knowledge and comfort coding in JavaScript within NetSuite’s Suite Commerce Advanced platform. The Worker must have specific experience with Bootstrap, Backbone and jQuery. The Worker must be able to follow software development processes, follow detailed project plans and generate work estimates. The Worker must be able to take assignments and direction from agency management and technical lead staff.
Worker will perform advanced analysis and programing tasks such as:
Creating a search interface against NetSuite’s API to lookup custom records
Implementing custom roles within the customer center to allow different access levels
Enhancing the order processing workflows to easily allow users to complete complex purchases.
The Worker must have a strong background in programming and testing and must be able to quickly develop expertise in complex systems, be quality conscious and be dedicated to delivering quality products on time and on budget.
Worker must have excellent written and oral communication skills, as they will be required to document and cross-train CPA staff as necessary to facilitate knowledge transfer.

Minimum Requirements:
Years Required/Preferred Experience
8 Required Experience/Knowledge of IT programming, development and maintenance processes
5 Required Experience with JavaScript
5 Required Experience with web application development and maintenance
5 Required Experience completing system documentation
4 Required Extensive experience with highly complex application security requirements
3 Required Experience with NetSuite platform
3 Required Experience with Backbone.js
3 Required Experience with jQuery
2 Required Experienced developing with SuiteCommerce Advanced
2 Required Experience with Bootstrap
Preferred:
2 Preferred Experience working with enterprise software solutions
2 Preferred Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government)
2 Preferred Proficient with the Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
1 Preferred Experience developing and supporting CPA procurement and purchasing application, Texas Smart Buy
